I dug out my old realme X7 Pro to play Whiteout Survival, but after using it for a short while, green lines started appearing on the screen. After checking online, I found that many users have experienced the same issue — it’s a common problem with Samsung AMOLED panels. To address this, realme and Samsung extended the panel warranty to four years. This morning, I called realme customer service and provided my phone’s serial number to check the warranty status, but they informed me that the device is already past the four-year coverage period. So, I guess this phone will now serve as my new alarm clock.

This is probably a common issue with Samsung—only the screen gets its warranty extended to four years.
Compared to my expected phone replacement schedule, I only upgraded about 15 days earlier.
